Shoulder adduction

Shoulder adduction refers to the movement in which the upper limb is brought toward the body from a lateral position. It is one of the fundamental joint movements of the shoulder. Dysfunction or pain during adduction may be caused by tendinitis, muscle imbalance, or arthritis. Training the correct kinetic chain helps improve the movement.
