Sacroiliac Joint Block (SIJ Block)

Injection to the ligaments of the sacroiliac joint is a minimally invasive technique used for the relief of pain in the pelvic region and lower back originating from the sacroiliac joint.

Technical procedure

The technique involves targeted injection of a local anesthetic, with or without corticosteroid, into the ligaments surrounding the sacroiliac joint.

Clinical approach
