Cervical epidural injection is a minimally invasive technique used for pain relief in the neck, shoulder, and upper limb, especially in cases of nerve root compression or inflammation.

Technical procedure

The technique involves injection of a local anesthetic, with or without corticosteroid, into the epidural space of the cervical spine, aiming to reduce inflammation and desensitize irritated nerves.
