Facet joint syndrome (zygapophyseal joint syndrome)

A clinical condition characterized by pain originating from the facet (zygapophyseal) joints. The pain worsens with spinal extension and rotation. It may be localized or referred to nearby areas. Diagnosis is based on clinical evaluation and diagnostic injections.
