Dry Arthropathy (Xeroarthritis)

Dry arthropathy describes a degenerative joint condition characterized by a reduced amount of synovial fluid within the joint. This leads to increased friction between the articular surfaces. It causes pain, stiffness, and limitation of movement. The term is mainly used descriptively in degenerative joint disorders.
