Anterior vertebral displacement

Anterior vertebral displacement occurs when a vertebra slips forward relative to the vertebra below it. It can cause lower back pain, reduced mobility, or nerve compression. It is often associated with degenerative changes, trauma, or spondylolisthesis. Treatment includes physiotherapy, orthotic support, or surgical correction in severe cases.
