Traumatic Instability
Traumatic instability refers to the loss of stability of a joint following an injury, due to damage to ligaments, muscles, or the joint capsule. It causes pain, a feeling of “looseness,” and restricted movement. Rehabilitation is achieved through physiotherapy or, in severe cases, surgical stabilization.
