Trapezius muscle

The trapezius is a large superficial muscle of the back that extends from the neck to the middle of the upper back. It is involved in the movement and stabilization of the scapula and shoulder. It plays an important role in maintaining proper posture. It is often involved in musculoskeletal pain due to poor posture or overuse.
