Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS)

A therapeutic method that uses low-intensity electrical currents to relieve pain through stimulation of peripheral nerves. It mainly works by pain inhibition mechanisms in the central nervous system. It is non-invasive and well tolerated. It is widely used in both acute and chronic conditions.
