Thrombosis (postoperative complication)

Thrombosis is the formation of a blood clot within a blood vessel. It can occur after surgical procedures, especially in the lower limbs. It causes pain, swelling, and may lead to serious complications if not treated. Prevention includes mobilization and medication.
