Articular dysfunction syndromes

A group of clinical conditions characterized by impaired normal joint mobility and function, without necessarily involving structural damage, usually due to irritation, overload, or muscular imbalance. They present with localized pain, stiffness, restricted movement, and often referred symptoms, especially in the small joints of the spine (facet joints).
