Core stability
Core stability is the body's ability to maintain the trunk and spine in a proper and stable position during movement or while maintaining posture. It is achieved through the coordinated action of the muscles of the trunk, abdominal region, pelvis, and lumbar spine. Core stability is a fundamental factor for balance, proper posture, and the efficient performance of movement. Strengthening core stability is widely used in physiotherapy, rehabilitation, and athletic training to prevent injuries and improve functional performance.
