Scapulohumeral arthropathy

Scapulohumeral arthropathy is a degenerative condition of the joint between the scapula and the humerus. It causes pain, swelling, and stiffness during shoulder movement. It is often associated with previous injuries or chronic overuse. Treatment includes physical therapy, medication, and in advanced cases, surgical reconstruction.
