Torticollis

Torticollis is a condition in which the head tilts to one side. It is often caused by spasm or shortening of the sternocleidomastoid muscle. It may be congenital or acquired after injury or inflammation. The head posture is associated with restricted neck mobility. Treatment ranges from physiotherapy to surgical correction.
