Pubic bone
Pubic bone is one of the three bones that form the pelvic (hip) bone, together with the ischium and the ilium. It is located in the anterior part of the pelvis and contributes to the formation of the pubic symphysis. It plays an important role in pelvic stability and in transferring loads from the trunk to the lower limbs. It also serves as an attachment site for muscles and ligaments in the region. Injuries to the pubic bone can significantly affect gait and stability.
