Scapular recurrence / recurrent scapular instability

Scapular recurrence refers to repeated instability or dislocation of the shoulder or scapula. It usually occurs after a previous dislocation or severe injury. It causes pain, stiffness, and limited range of motion during arm elevation or rotation. Management includes physical therapy, muscle strengthening, and in severe cases, surgical stabilization.
