Rotator cuff tear
A rotator cuff tear involves damage to one or more of the tendons that stabilize the shoulder. It causes pain, weakness when lifting the arm, and reduced upper limb function. It often occurs in older adults or following an injury. Management includes physical therapy, strengthening exercises, and in severe cases, surgical repair.
