Reflex sympathetic dystrophy

Reflex sympathetic dystrophy, also known as Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), is a chronic condition characterized by severe and prolonged pain, usually following an injury or surgical procedure. It is accompanied by swelling, changes in skin color and temperature, as well as restricted movement. Early diagnosis and treatment, including physiotherapy, medication, and specialized pain therapies, are important for improving functionality and quality of life.
