Radicular symptoms

Radicular symptoms describe the symptoms resulting from compression or irritation of a nerve root. They are characterized by pain that radiates along the course of the nerve to the upper or lower limb. They may be accompanied by numbness, tingling, or muscle weakness. They are often associated with disc herniation or spinal stenosis. Treatment depends on the cause and severity of the symptoms.
