Periarticular disorders

Periarticular disorders are conditions that affect the soft tissues surrounding a joint, such as tendons, bursae, ligaments, and muscles. They cause pain, swelling, stiffness, and limited movement. They are often related to overuse, minor trauma, or degenerative changes. Treatment is usually conservative and includes rest, physiotherapy, and anti-inflammatory medication.
