Pathological fracture

A pathological fracture is a bone fracture that occurs without significant trauma or a fall, due to weakening of the bone from disease. Common causes include osteoporosis, tumors, or infections. It causes pain, swelling, and difficulty using the affected limb. Treatment includes stabilization, medication, and in some cases surgical intervention.
