Paracentral disc herniation

Paracentral disc herniation is the protrusion of an intervertebral disc toward the side, compressing nerve roots. It causes lower back pain, radiating pain to the legs, numbness, or muscle weakness. It is usually due to degenerative changes or trauma. Treatment includes physiotherapy, medication, or surgery in severe cases.
