Radial Nerve

The radial nerve is one of the main nerves of the upper limb, responsible for extension of the wrist and fingers. It runs along the posterior aspect of the arm and forearm. Injury to the nerve may cause weakness or paralysis of extension (wrist drop). It is often associated with fractures of the humerus. Early diagnosis is important for the restoration of function.
