Nerve transfer

Nerve transfer is a surgical technique in which a healthy donor nerve or one of its functional branches is connected to a damaged nerve. The goal is to restore nerve function and improve motor or sensory recovery. It is commonly used in severe nerve injuries. The procedure requires specialized microsurgical expertise. Rehabilitation is typically prolonged and requires dedicated postoperative therapy.
