Μuscle spasm

Α muscle spasm is an involuntary and prolonged contraction of a muscle or muscle group. It may cause pain, stiffness, and limitation of normal movement. It often occurs after overuse, injury, poor posture, or excessive strain. Its treatment may include rest, physiotherapy, and appropriate medical evaluation.
