Lysosomal degeneration

Lysosomal degeneration is a pathological condition in which the lysosomes of cells—organelles responsible for the breakdown and recycling of cellular materials—do not function properly. This leads to the accumulation of undegraded substances within cells, resulting in cellular damage and degenerative disorders.
