Lymphedema

Lymphedema is the accumulation of lymphatic fluid in the tissues, causing swelling, usually in the limbs. It is due to a disruption of lymphatic circulation. It can occur after surgery or injury. It is accompanied by a feeling of heaviness and stiffness.
