Lymphangitis (in a trauma context)

Lymphangitis is inflammation of the lymphatic vessels, often secondary to injury or infection. It appears with red streaks on the skin and pain. It may be accompanied by fever and general malaise. It requires immediate medical treatment with antibiotics. It is an important complication of traumatic conditions.
