Lumbar radiculopathy

Lumbar radiculopathy is caused by compression of nerve roots in the lower region of the spine. The pain often radiates to the lower limb, also known as sciatica. It may be accompanied by muscle weakness or sensory disturbances. Common causes include disc herniation and spinal stenosis. Treatment includes medication, physiotherapy, or surgery.
