Lumbar radiculopathy

Lumbar radiculopathy is the compression or injury of a nerve root in the lumbar spine. It causes pain, numbness, or weakness in the legs. It is usually caused by a herniated disc or spinal stenosis. Diagnosis is made clinically and with MRI, and management includes medication, physiotherapy, or surgery.
