Lateral flexion

Lateral flexion refers to the movement of the spine or a joint toward the side. It is part of normal physiological mobility and is assessed during clinical examination to identify restrictions or stiffness. Limited or abnormal lateral flexion may indicate muscle imbalance, scoliosis, or injury.
