Labral tear

A labral tear involves the fibrocartilage that surrounds the shoulder or hip joint. It causes pain, a feeling of instability, and limited range of motion. It is often associated with sports injuries or repetitive loading. Diagnosis is made through clinical examination and imaging studies. Treatment may be conservative or may involve arthroscopic repair.
