Cartilage perforation

Damage to the articular cartilage resulting in a hole or loss of tissue. It reduces protection of the underlying bone and causes pain. It is common in traumatic injuries or degenerative conditions. Treatment includes arthroscopic repair techniques or biological cartilage restoration.
