Pes valgoplanus
Pes valgoplanus is a complex deformity of the foot in which hindfoot valgus (heel deviation inward) is combined with flattening of the medial longitudinal arch. The foot deviates inward while losing its normal supporting curvature. The condition may be congenital or develop during growth. It often affects gait, causing fatigue or instability. Treatment depends on severity and may be conservative or surgical.
