Isotonic exercise
Isotonic exercise is a form of muscle exercise in which the muscle contracts and produces force while its length changes, resulting in movement of a joint. It usually includes two types of contractions: concentric contraction, in which the muscle shortens, and eccentric contraction, in which the muscle lengthens under tension. It is widely used in strengthening programs, sports training, and rehabilitation after injuries. It contributes to improving muscle strength, endurance, and overall body function. The intensity and duration of the exercise are adjusted according to the individual's goals and physical condition.
