Ischiofemoral impingement

Ischiofemoral impingement is a condition in which there is abnormal contact between the ischial bone and the femur. It causes hip pain and limitation of movement. It may result from anatomical or functional abnormalities. Diagnosis is made through clinical examination and imaging studies. Treatment may be conservative or surgical.
