Ischemia
Ischemia is a condition in which blood supply to a tissue or organ is reduced or interrupted, resulting in insufficient delivery of oxygen and nutrients. It may be caused by blockage or narrowing of blood vessels, injuries, or other vascular disorders. Lack of oxygen can lead to cellular dysfunction and, if prolonged, permanent tissue damage. Symptoms depend on the affected area and may include pain, weakness, or loss of function. Early diagnosis and treatment are important for restoring normal blood circulation.
