Intervertebral disc calcification

Intervertebral disc calcification is the deposition of calcium in a spinal disc, usually in the cervical or thoracic region, which can cause pain and limited mobility. It is a rare condition, often self-limiting, but in some cases may lead to compression of nerves or the spinal cord.
