Intertrochanteric osteotomy

A surgical procedure involving cutting and realignment of the femur in the intertrochanteric region (near the femoral neck/head axis) to correct hip deformities. It is used in congenital dysplasia or degenerative conditions. The goal is to redistribute mechanical load and improve joint function.
