Sacroiliac dysfunction

Sacroiliac dysfunction refers to a disturbance of the normal mobility or stability of the sacroiliac joint. It may cause pain in the lower back, buttocks, or lower limb. It is often associated with mechanical overload or injury. Diagnosis is based on clinical examination and functional tests. Treatment is mainly conservative with physiotherapy.
