Idiopathic scoliosis

Idiopathic scoliosis is a lateral deformity of the spine with no known cause. It occurs most commonly in adolescents during the growth period. It may be mild or severe and can affect posture and body function. Diagnosis is made through clinical and radiological evaluation. Treatment includes observation, bracing, or surgery.
