Hip hemiarthroplasty

Hip hemiarthroplasty is a surgical procedure in which only the femoral head is replaced. It is mainly performed for femoral neck fractures, especially in elderly patients. The acetabulum remains natural and is not replaced, unlike in total hip arthroplasty. The aim of the procedure is pain relief and restoration of mobility. It is a fast and effective solution in urgent orthopedic conditions.
