Hallux Valgus (Bunion)

Hallux valgus is a deformity of the great toe in which the toe deviates toward the other toes. It is often accompanied by the development of a painful bony prominence on the inner side of the foot. The condition may cause difficulty with walking and wearing appropriate footwear. Treatment includes conservative measures or surgical correction, depending on the severity of the deformity and symptoms.
