Generalized osteoporosis

Generalized osteoporosis is a metabolic bone disorder in which bone density and the quality of bone tissue are reduced throughout the entire skeletal system. This condition makes bones more fragile and increases the risk of fractures, even after minor injuries. It is often associated with aging, hormonal changes, calcium or vitamin D deficiency, and other risk factors. Diagnosis is mainly made through bone mineral density measurement (DEXA scan) and laboratory testing. Treatment includes lifestyle modifications, exercise, proper nutrition, and, when necessary, specific medications to strengthen bones.
