Generalized osteoarthritis

Generalized osteoarthritis is a degenerative condition that affects multiple joints of the body, causing gradual wear of the articular cartilage and changes in the bones surrounding the joints. It occurs more frequently with increasing age but may also be associated with genetic factors, increased mechanical loading, or previous injuries. The main symptoms include pain, stiffness, limited movement, and reduced joint function. Diagnosis is made through clinical examination and imaging evaluation, such as X-rays. Treatment includes exercise, physiotherapy, weight management, medication, and, in advanced cases, surgical interventions.
