Femoroacetabular impingement

Femoroacetabular impingement is a condition where there is pathological contact between the femoral head and the acetabulum. It causes hip pain and limitation of movement. It is classified into CAM, Pincer or mixed form. It appears often in young people and athletes. Treatment can be conservative or arthroscopic.
