Facet joint arthropathy (facet joint syndrome)

A degenerative or inflammatory condition of the facet joints of the spine. It causes localized pain, restriction of movement, and reflex muscle spasm. It is common in elderly individuals or after trauma. Diagnosis is made through clinical examination and imaging, while treatment includes medication, physiotherapy, or injections.
