Humeral epicondyle (medial/lateral)
The humeral epicondyles are bony prominences at the distal end of the humerus, divided into medial and lateral. They serve as attachment points for muscles and ligaments of the elbow and forearm. The medial epicondyle is associated with the flexor muscles, while the lateral epicondyle is associated with the extensor muscles. They are common sites of overuse injuries, such as epicondylitis. Proper function is essential for normal upper limb movement.
