Degenerative myelopathy

Degenerative myelopathy is a condition characterized by gradual damage to the spinal cord due to degenerative changes in the spine, such as spinal canal narrowing (stenosis), intervertebral disc degeneration, and the formation of bone spurs (osteophytes). These changes cause pressure on the spinal cord, leading to neurological symptoms and dysfunction of the limbs.
