Femoral Head Dysplasia

Abnormal development of the femoral head leading to incomplete congruency with the acetabulum. It causes joint instability and an increased risk of degenerative arthritis. It is usually diagnosed in children or adolescents through imaging studies. It requires monitoring and, in severe cases, surgical correction.
